This is Mrs. Baker's 24th year at VMS. She taught 5th grade for 8 years, and has been principal for the past 16 years. She received her B.A. (Sociology) and teaching credential (Multiple Subject) from UCSB, and her M.A. (Educational Administration) and Administrative Credential from Cal State, Northridge. She previously taught in the Oxnard School District, and worked for 4 years in special education classrooms in Arizona and San Diego.
Mrs. Baker has two adult children, Justin and Ashley, both of whom graduated from VMS.
Mrs. Baker feels blessed to work alongside such a dedicated board and staff here at Ventura Missionary School. Her desire is to see students come to a mature faith in Jesus Christ while receiving an exceptional education steeped in the arts and based on Biblical truth.
